<< REWIND – 2 years ago

I was grinding away at a 9-5 job, commuting 1hr/day, living for Friday and hoping Monday would never come.

From the outside things looked pretty great; I had a good education, a secure job, full benefits package, and a pension plan. I had done everything “right”, but in reality I was incredibly unhappy. In fact, I spent the majority of my time during my commute every day thinking,

“There has to be more to life than just working for 40 years and dying; where do I go from here?”

As a kid I had envisioned my life as serving a greater purpose far beyond the four walls of my cubicle, and yet here I was working as an administrator answering people’s disgruntled phone calls about how their garbage wasn’t collected on time.

I knew this wasn’t my story.

>> FAST FORWARD – to April 2018

On my 26th birthday, my boyfriend and I were sitting on a brewery tour bus (I love a good craft beer) when on a whim I secured my spot in a Yoga Teacher Training course in Portugal and booked my roundtrip flights for the next month.

I quit my job that following week.

Did I have a plan? Sort of, but not really.
Was I scared? Heck yeah.
Did I regret my decision? Not a chance.

I have always believed that in order to create significant change, you must be willing to take significant action & that single moment of courage was all I needed.

Upon my return to Canada in late June 2018, I jumped head first into my business opening Muskoka’s first fully mobile yoga studio.

I was finally in the driver’s seat of my own life, and it felt absolutely freeing (bye bye, cubicle life).

I can now say with unshakeable conviction that this is where I am meant to be. I am so grateful for all of the connections, friendships, and partnerships I have made [and continue to make every day] on this journey.

Muskoka Private Yoga InstructorI am so passionate about providing others with the tools they need to tap into their inner being and reconnect to their purpose, as I spent so much time living in a disconnect from my own.

I now offer my clients the opportunity to step into their truth with unwavering confidence much like the confidence it took me to leave my soul-less corporate security blanket.

I empower my clients through my services to tap into the magic inside of themselves in order to design the life they want, rather than settle for the one they have found.

We all know that the world is brimming with opportunity and that this life has more to offer than just the status quo. However, many of us never take the leap to find out exactly what else that is.

Consider this your permission to craft your own success story.

Where do you want to be a year from now?
